PROJECT UPDATES AND TIMELINE

  • 2006: Market Basket proposed a new, neighborhood-sized market in the City of Gloucester.  This development would be built on land adjacent to Route 128 that Market Basket has owned for nearly twenty years.

 

  • 2008: The proposed Market Basket project site off Route 128 has been put on hold to pursue other Market Basket stores in the City of Gloucester.  

 

  • 2008: Market Basket is currently pursuing a different development site at the Glouester Crossing Shopping Center site.
